First, she was in the woods living on her own for while. Nobody knows how long but she is emaciated and her coat is pretty pitiful. Her ears are almost bald and so sore.Teeth ---yuck! Caught as a stray, she was taken to the local animal shelter.
She was very scared and wanted to get out of that cage. Somebody adopted her and then brought her back. Then a nice rescue lady came and got her. But Pap 911 Rescue wanted her to come home to the Dog House.
Before you know it- here is a tiny waif coming through my gate! Well, ok this is somewhat like a fairy tale!
It seems that the little waif is meant to come to Pap 911 and to the Dog House. Because - HERE SHE IS!
John says her name is Martha. Now we will take Martha to all our vets and find out what we can do for her. But really--- I want to see what she will do for US! Because she came right to our door. I am looking forward to seeing this caterpillar become a beautiful butterfly.
Now - will all of you that were following her progress for the last several days please join me with a donation to the MARTHA Butterfly FUND? Please join me and become virtual fosters for Martha.
My name is Izzy and I am a delightful young lady that loves my people. I love nothing more than to sit on your lap and snuggle, sleep in bed with you and be with you were ever you are. I am a lively and playful young lady but not to a point were I become too much. I am shy when I first meet new things / people / dogs and I take a while to warm up, but once I do, I'm fine. I live with cats and dogs with dogs coming and going on a regular basis. I am bossy and do not like to share my toys but when my human tells me to knock it off, I'm OK with that. My ideal home (wishlist) would be a home by myself or with a dog / and or cat that could care less about giving up toys but is young enough to play with me and have a good time.
